Trinity Massage and Wellness Salon Spa Reviews Bodymechanics School

I had the pleasure of getting to know Donna Hammers, LMT and owner of Trinity Massage in Olympia during our recent trip to Thailand.  Prior to the trip, I had met Donna once.  I had looked forward to getting to know her bette.  What I discovered, is that she is a joy to be around and I truly enjoyed getting to know her better.  When someone reviews Bodymechanics School, I am excited to read what they have to say.

Last night, Donna reached out and asked to write a guest blog for our website.  I didn’t hesitate and when I read what she wrote, I was blown away.  I know the quality of our graduates.  I know their passion and dedication to helping others with massage – to have someone else recognize this gift is very rewarding.

I have been a massage therapist for 20 years, and a massage instructor and business owner Donna Hammers, LMTin Thurston County since 2005.  I’ve participated in the growth of the massage industry over the past 20 years.

When I purchased Trinity Massage and Wellness Salon Spa in August of 2015, I stepped out of my comfort zone as a sole proprietor.  In those first two years, I had six business colleagues who were graduates of the Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy & Massage.  Currently, four of the LMTs with practices at Trinity are graduates of Bodymechanics School.  As my business continues to grow, I will continue to look to bring in other graduates.

There is a simple reason.

All of the therapists I have worked with to date, who have graduated from Bodymechanics School have a passion for massage therapy.  They leave the school with a finely honed craft and a true understanding of what it takes to turn their desire to be a professional massage therapist into a reality.

They have had their intuitive flame fanned at this dynamic school.

To say owner Shari Aldrich is passionate about business and massage therapy is an understatement.  The school she has created does more than educate students.   This local school is influencing the successful outcomes of their massage school graduates, ultimately turning out quality professionals who will continue to grow the massage field as respected partners in many areas of the health care industry.

Shari continues to support and encourage graduates and those interested in the massage industry beyond the walls of the school.

Thai Massage SchoolI recently had the pleasure of traveling with her on a trip to Thailand that she organized for 25 travelers.  Fifteen of us were massage professionals receiving our level one certification in Traditional Thai Massage.  We traveled to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket over the course of 2 weeks.  The school was at the Thai Massage School in Chiang Mai and was a lot of fun.

We were in school for 5 days, and the rest of the time we toured the country – seeing tigers, elephants, monkeys, Buddhist temples, and the beach.

Definitely a trip to remember.

Many massage therapists get their degrees, hobble along in life disenchanted, and pay their bills.  For some, this is not enough.  They have an understanding to follow a vocation which fulfills them at a should deep level.  Bodymechanics answers this call with a finely balanced approach towards business, hands-on technique and the application of both.  I cannot think of a better place to get your education than at Bodymechanics School.

I am honored to work with all of the professionals in my business, and today, I find myself gratified to have the graduates from an industry leading institution practicing at my business.
