Vancouver – IMTA™ (Integrated Multi-Modality Therapeutic Approach) Fundamentals

June 10, 2023 @ 8:00 am - June 11, 2023 @ 5:00 pm

$417

16 CE Hours

Be ready to take massage therapy and bodywork to an advanced level! This class is the prerequisite for all other IMTA™ courses. During this two-day workshop, with 90% hands-on practice, you will learn a unique integrated and holistic way to develop a very effective therapeutic session.

From an anatomical point of view, you will understand that each body challenge requires a tailored approach. Each client has different needs, and each area of the body requires a different touch or technique.

You will explore the principles of five modalities: Myofascial Mobilization / Release / Massage, Compression Stretching, Deep Tissue, Active / Passive Stretching, and Intuitive Listening / Present Moment Awareness. Thanks to all these techniques, you will learn to better adapt to different situations and discern how to best deliver results.

Being present with your client ties everything together and is actually what makes this a great massage. Your ability to hear your clients and what they need will help you decide how to move forward with the session. We teach a special way to help you stay focused and connected during the session with your client. With practice, you will develop this intuitiveness, use that wisdom and achieve better results.

During the workshop, you will receive a course manual and certificate of completion. Additionally, you will become a member of our community, which will give you exclusive opportunities for ongoing new tools.
