Structural Release of the Thoracic Cavity

About this event

8 hours CE

Structural Integration is based on some basic ideas about human structure:

Most people are out of alignment with the forces of gravity;

The body functions more efficiently when it is lined up with the earth’s gravitational field;

The soft tissues of the body can be molded to bring the body back into gravitational alignment.

Each course teaches the theory and techniques for structural integration of the body. The intent of the treatments is to balance the body into alignment with its environment, freeing the energy flow which will enhance the body’s physiological and psychological function.

During each course the student will learn the anatomical structure and the hands-on releases for the area taught as well as performing and receiving a 2 hour session for each area.

The 11 separate courses include; The Chest, Hips, Lower Legs & Feet, Shoulders, Low Back, Quadriceps & Adductors, Abdominals & Psoas, Hamstrings, Buttocks, Spine & Arms and Head, Neck and Face.

For this class, Gary will focus on structural release of the thoracic cavity.
