She has a degree in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Arizona, a certificate in massage therapy and Zen shiatsu from the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts, and a serious interest in the integration of mind and body.

“Mindfulness helps me explore my own human experience directly and profoundly. I enjoy sharing my practice with others who are on the lookout for skillful ways to meet the increasing complexities of life. As a result of this practice, I have experienced increased clarity, reduced anxiety, and a greater capacity for kindness. May you find meaningful experiences like these and more.” ~ Deanna Sylvester
