32 CE Hours (includes 4 Ethics hours) for your Massage Therapy Instructor certification

The Bodymechanics School Massage Therapy Instructor Certification program is designed for massage therapy professionals who have a desire to become an effective Massage Therapy Instructor – as well as help those who already teach massage therapy to increase their knowledge.

Our 32 hour program is centered on developing instructor competencies that will help develop ethical, employable massage and bodywork practitioners with the knowledge, ability, and skills that can positively impact the massage and bodywork profession.   Our program is centered on 4 core areas:

• The Learner and Learning – Teaching begins with the learner.  Learn to recognize patterns of learning and development that vary individually.
• Content – Develop your deep and flexible understanding of your subject area and be able to draw upon content knowledge as you work with adult learners.
• Instructional Practice – Understand and integrate planning, strategies and assessment in coordinated and engaging ways.
• Professional Responsibility – Learn to establish safe and productive learning environments, meet learners’ needs and accomplish institutional mission and goals.

Upon successful completion of the Massage Therapy Instructor Certification program, participants will receive your certificate of completion and 32 hours of continuing education – including 6 hours of ethics.

This course is comprised of comprehensive training material, power point presentations, classroom activities and assessments.  This program has recently been updated to excel industry standards for massage therapy instructors.

Taught by Dawn Edge, RPh, LMT – massage therapy educator since 2017 at Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy & Massage and CE Educator.  Through activities and professional development, those who participate in the Massage Therapy Instructor Certification course will leave feeling prepared for the classroom.

Class time is 9 am – 6 pm with an hour lunch.
Classes will be help at the Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy & Massage campus at 2330 Mottman Road SW #106, Tumwater WA 98512
