Class Description:
Lymphatic Drainage Massage decreases inflammation, swelling, and pain. It also increases lymph flow to increase immune function and improve overall health. Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle light massage. In this class you will learn to:
- Describe a lymphatic drainage massage session to a potential client.
- Speak accurately about lymphatic drainage (benefits, what to expect, etc.) to the client.
- Identify when the application of lymphatic drainage is indicated or contraindicated.
- Correctly apply lymphatic drainage techniques.
- Work in different settings.
- Create a client-centered approach.
- Identify appropriate pressure scale.
