CHABA stands for Cannabis Health and Beauty Aid and CHABA topicals are legal for us to use and can be beneficial.  This class is designed to provide licensed massage therapists in Washington State with the tools and knowledge they need to stay out of trouble, and understand what can be used legally, as well as the benefits of these products.

This fun and SUPER informative course will help you:

• Understand the history of cannabis law in Washington State

• Understand the current rules and regulations around the use of these products

• Maintain safe roles and boundaries with clients

• Understand the basics of CHABA/cannabis and its benefits

• Help you speak confidently about the topic to your clients/patients

• Help you speak confidently about the topic to your clients/patients

Instructor Bio: Jennifer Chan, CMT/LMT, born in New York, is a board certified (BCTMB) and licensed massage therapist in VA and WA. She has almost 15 years of experience in providing relaxing and medical/sports/therapeutic massage. Jen graduated from AKS Massage School in Herndon VA with honors. She is certified in sports massage and incorporates that passion into her volunteerism, providing massages at many events such as the JFK 50 mile Run, Run for Shelter/Loudoun County, March of Dimes “Walk America”, the Patriot Cup, Reston Relay for Life, and the Tom Dolan Swim Invitational.
