Santa Fe – Ethics: In connection & support of each other

October 30, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

$96

4 CE Credits

Class Description:

The times of the pandemic have been highly demanding for all of us! We all have been challenged to find new ways of connecting with our clients and each other. It is an ethical exploration to discover how we can honor our own process and take care of ourselves, while continuing to provide our much-needed services to our clients.

Ethics is a complex subject that entails not only knowledge of an external code of ethics but a continuous engagement in self-inquiry and self-reflection. These extraordinary times offer us an invitation to go deep and explore the “use of self” in the development of our inner code of ethics, which lies at the core of our work as practitioners and human beings.

In this experiential workshop we will

  • engage in mindfulness practices
  • do personal exploration around challenges in our practice
  • work in small groups to share and discuss ethical dilemmas
  • use ethical decision-making models as guidelines
  • practice to incorporate somatic awareness and felt-sense exercises in our decision-making

“… we must be on the journey of repairing our own hearts and actions, before we can offer healing to others.”

His Holiness The Dalai Lama
