September 5, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Health Care & a higher standard: A conversation on ethics & the Massage Therapist |
|
The Hippocratic Oath has guided the medical profession since ancient times, and the Dalai Lama brings us timeless wisdom. Both are important in today’s world. Massage Therapists and other healing practitioners stand at a unique juxtaposition between these two poles. In this class we will discuss boundaries in the 21st century, where everything is energy, and explore taking your ethics to the next level.
Farice came to massage therapy after 16 years in computers and teaching math. After graduating from The Scherer Institute of Natural Healing in 2001, she’s been practicing, learning, teaching and exploring the body/mind, connection and communication. Her interests radiate around lifelong learning, consciousness, touch, water, wellness, kindness and world peace. Her bodywork path includes time with The Scherer Institute, Santa Fe Massage, Bishops Lodge, Santa Fe School of Massage, Encantado, La Posada, Light Vessel Spa as a practitioner, valued team member, teacher/trainer, lead therapist and an active learner. Alongside her wellness and bodywork practice, she teaches Hydrotherapy, Ethics and Business. Farice looks forward to sharing what she’s learned with you. Please stay updated on the current state-by-state Covid quarantine rules and regulations including if there are options to avoid a lengthy quarantine when entering the state of the seminar by having a rapid test, by checking in regularly on the CDC website. If lengthy quarantines are the only option one-month prior to the scheduled date of any seminar, it will be postponed to a later date. CURRENT COVID PROTOCOL FOR CE COURSES Currently, we follow CDC guidelines and New Mexico law for massage education: we are required to wear a mask in the school and all participants are screened (including temperature check) upon entering the building. |
