Bodymechanics School Launches Afternoon Massage Class
For the first time in over ten years, Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy & Massage is poised to launch an afternoon massage class. This is great news for those who want to attend massage school, but can’t get into the morning session – or who like to have their mornings free.
The afternoon massage class fills a need in the school by offering another option to the program as the morning class was full more than 2 months prior to the class start. The afternoon massage class will run Tuesday – Friday from 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm and starts October 20, 2015.
Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy & Massage focuses primarily on an advanced curriculum, including advanced therapeutic massage modalities. Students have the opportunity to learn and apply advanced theory to their friends and family – as well as during our student clinics.
Recently, a massage professional of 20+ years had an opportunity to join our injury treatment program for continuing education. Here is what Melinda had to say of our program:
My experience with Bodymechanics started several weeks ago, when I received a student massage. I have long heard of the school and the quality of their education, and I was extremely impressed with the level of knowledge and the approach the student took.
Soon after, I contacted Shari to inquire about continuing education classes offered at the school. Again, I was super impressed! After taking time to find out where I’m at in my career and what my educational interests are, Shari invited me to attend the Injury Treatment series.
I started the series last night and was absolutely blown away at the level of education offered. The content is very advanced, yet presented in a way that doesn’t overwhelm even the newest students. There is a reason Bodymechanics turns out exceptional therapists…their curriculum and instruction are the best I’ve seen in my nearly 20 years as a massage therapist.
We are proud of the tradition for advanced massage education at Bodymechanics School. It is rewarding to have a professional of nearly 20 years recognize the advanced theory and treatments. There is a reason that our graduates are in high demand – advanced theory that prepares our students for success prior to graduation.
The afternoon massage class will allow us to help more students reach their goal to become an exceptional massage therapist. Class size is limited to 16 students – and we are launching this program because the morning class is full. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity!
Current student Danielle says this about our program:
I am so glad I chose to come to Bodymechanics for my massage education!
I’ve been in the program for 8 months, and it’s amazing. I am a hands-on, people-oriented learner and so the curriculum really works for me. Lots of bodywork practice from Day 1, and practical skills/tools I can use to help my clients. All of my instructors have their own private massage therapy practices, and fields of expertise. They bring real-world knowledge of the massage profession into the classroom. I am getting a great business education right along with my massage education. I’ve already begun putting together my business and marketing plans!
Besides all of that…
Everyone – the instructors, staff, LMP’s in the professional clinic – they treat you like family. Like you belong. They really do have the student’s best interest at heart.
When I enrolled in the program, I didn’t have the money to buy a massage table – a necessary tool for the trade. My instructors graciously GAVE me a gently used massage table that had recently been donated to the school. It was the biggest blessing to me, and for Bodymechanics – it’s just the way they operate. I highly recommend this school to anyone who believes that massage therapy is a calling of the heart.
Thank you so much for believing in me, and welcoming me into the fold. What a great beginning to my career!
