The Exercise Therapy program is a specialized treatment protocol that works to eliminate pain and improve posture and flexibility while reducing the risk of nagging injuries. Programs are designed to eliminate muscle imbalances, creating proper length-tension relationships to address skeletal misalignments that lead to chronic pain, injury, repetitive stress injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. using exercises that stimulate weak muscles, myofascial release and flexibility techniques that restore elasticity to overly tight muscles, many disorders can be resolved without surgery. The Exercise Therapy team is comprised of our highly talented team of Corrective Exercise Specialists, massage therapists and chiropractor.
Neurosomatic Therapy (NST) is an integrative form of manual therapy that identifies and corrects structural and biomechanical patterns in the body that cause chronic pain. By using careful analysis of dysfunctional postural and movement patterns to create a comprehensive therapy program NST fully addresses the five stages of rehabilitation:
Eliminate Muscle Spasm
Restore Proper Biomechanics
Increase Muscle Strength
Increase Muscular Endurance
The best part of NST is that it not only to eliminates pain, but it also educates the patient on ways to prevent recurrence of the injury.
Group Fitness and Boot Camp
We are proud at IHC to incorporate Bodymechanics Fit Body Boot Camp. Our program is designed to help members shed unwanted pounds in the shortest amount of time under the guidance of our highly qualified group of personal trainers.
Our trainers are all trained in functional movement patterns, and will oversee your workouts with an eye to form and safety. The classes are high energy and a lot of fun. Our classes are designed for every fitness level and are modifiable for ease of workouts – or intensity for the higher level athlete.
Functional Aging training
Our newest offering at Bodymechanics Fit Body Boot Camp, the Functional Aging Training is one component of successful aging. Our members are supervised through workouts that are appropriate for all age-related alterations in the cardiovascular, neuromuscular, and musculoskeletal systems. We strive to help members maintain the ability to be independent in activities of daily living (such as walking, climbing stairs, standing from a seated position, simple lifting tasks – like picking up a grand child.)
